2023年僑光盃青年培力暨四創競賽 董事長致詞

各位老師、同學大家好：

        今天活動的重點是「競賽」，而這已不是我們學校同學第一次參與這種模式的活動，例如前陣子資科系老師帶領學生參加數位發展部舉辦的競賽，在全國兩百多隊中獲得金牌及佳作，獲得獎金總計一百二十萬元，因此我們學校的同學在這方面已經非常有經驗。這些競賽都為了協助解決企業的問題，今天這個活動也是如此，總共有55個隊的隊伍，包含高中職團隊參與，透過競賽激盪出產品行銷的新解方。在這裡歡迎參與的貴賓及同學，希望大家都有傑出的表現；在創業生涯上打下基礎，也對企業有所幫助。最後，感謝今天在座的貴賓們指導協助評審，也謝謝老師們的準備，預祝今天活動圓滿成功！

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Welcome to the 2023 僑光, or Overseas Chinese University, acronym OCU Cup competition. The competition is for promoting the ability of our students in novelty, innovation, and leading to entrepreneurship. In other words, you can start your career by establishing your brand and your own company, to be yourself, and to be an entrepreneur in your particular area. I’m hopeful and also confident that this will be a very precious opportunity for you to practice and enlarge your endeavor in your future creativity and entrepreneurship. I believe all the participants here today will benefit from today’s experience. You will learn here and excel in the future. Finally, I want to particularly thank all the guests here today. For your help, both financially and your efforts here. I also want to thank the teamwork of our faculty and students for making today’s event very memorable. This is hopefully the first effort on our campus here at OCU. And hopefully, next year, we will get more participants, and we can widen our categories, and efforts on areas and concentration so that we will broaden the varieties of careers. Our future students, especially students from our campus, OCU. I want to also emphasize that ethical education is very much emphasized here at OCU. I believe, in the future, no matter what work you do, ethics is the most important asset for every one of you, our students here today. You need to be a good entrepreneur and a good citizen, and you will help all people on this island by being ethical, honest, respectful, and kind to all the other people.
