113學年度餐飲管理系成果展 董事長致詞　OCU Chairman Chen Addresses the 2025 Department of Food and Beverage Management Student Achievement Exhibition

各位家長、老師及同學們，午安：

　　今天非常高興能夠參加111級餐飲管理系大三學生的成果發表會。看到這麼多家長親自到場支持，讓同學們倍感鼓舞，也讓這場發表會更顯意義非凡，謹代表學校向各位家長致以熱烈的歡迎與感謝。

　　每一年，我們的成果發表會在菜單設計、料理創意及烹飪技巧上都不斷進步，相信各位家長今天也能深刻感受到學生們的努力與成長，以及本校在設備與學習環境上的用心投入。同時，我要特別感謝指導老師們多年來的辛勤付出，帶領學生們在各項技能競賽中屢獲佳績，為學校爭光。

　　當前教育環境日益競爭，加上少子化的影響，本國生逐漸減少，學校也積極招收優秀的境外生。因此，我們更加重視培養學生的團隊合作精神與跨文化交流能力。唯有具備良好合作態度與溝通能力的人，才能在未來的職場與生活中，展現高度的競爭力與適應力。

　　希望透過這次的成果發表會，家長們能夠親眼見證貴子女在僑光科技大學的成長與蛻變，也肯定餐飲管理系在課程與活動上的用心安排。

　　最後，祝福所有家長、師生們身體健康、萬事如意，並預祝本次成果發表會圓滿成功！

Good afternoon, dear parents, faculty members, and students,

It is a great pleasure to be here today for the Achievement Exhibition of our third-year students from the Department of Food and Beverage Management. I’m delighted to see so many parents joining us to witness the accomplishments of our students. Your presence and continued support mean a great deal to them—once again, a warm welcome to all of you.

Each year, we’ve seen significant improvement in the quality of these presentations—from menu design to culinary skills. I believe today you will notice the growth in your children and appreciate the effort we’ve put into creating a better learning environment with modern facilities. I would also like to thank our dedicated faculty members. Thanks to their guidance, our students have won numerous awards in various skill competitions.

As the educational landscape becomes increasingly competitive—and with the impact of declining birth rates—domestic student numbers are decreasing. To maintain a vibrant learning community, we have begun to welcome outstanding international students as well. This is why we emphasize the importance of teamwork. Only those with a strong sense of collaboration can develop communication and interpersonal skills that allow them to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. Whether in one’s career or personal life, these qualities are essential.

I hope this exhibition allows you to witness your children’s hard work and progress at OCU. My sincere thanks go to the Department of Food and Beverage Management for their thoughtful planning and execution of today’s event, giving students a platform to showcase their best.
